A good portion of what makes Monster Hunter the game it is, is player agency. This design has some pretty hefty direct conflicts with that.
There is no reason any mobile game can claim “that’s not possible on mobile” anymore.
Genshin, despite all its very obvious flaws, is a fantastic game. The monetization and predatory tactics are terrible and soulless corporate greed, no argument from me on that. The actual game however is amazing considering you can play it on mobile just as well as you can on PC/Console (hardware dependent of course)
The only reason I bring Genshin up is because, though I would pray they avoid gacha and find a different way to monetize it, the model actually fits really well for a mobile MH.
Which is honestly what I was hoping for with the advancement of mobile gaming taking the leaps it has, with some phones being designed specifically for the purpose of gaming (ASUS Rog5 for example), a fully fleshed out pseudo-live service MH game is entirely possible.
Frankly as long as the Monsters aren’t landlocked and biome specific I’ll at least try it. It’s just that if I want to fight Deviljho and all I see are Barroth within a few blocks of my apartment I’ll probably just uninstall the game lol

Mainly not nerfing remote passes like they said they would, originally remote raiders would do less damage to raid bosses but instead of that they just increased the price of remote passes by 90+% price. We all know they want people out again but their persistence on AR tech instead of fixing bugs and the like after 7yrs is getting to people

Finally, I can play Monster Hunter at school. It's funny to think this could be cannon as in the lore and story the ancient civilization in monster hunter made portals to the witcher world, final fantasy world, and our world, so this could be cannon. But probably not, but I would be cool to see some kind of inter dimensional story here.

That thumbnail got me hyped and thought it would be a modern era type surrounding with classic monster Hunter weapons and gameplay, but this is cool too

My dog has been loving this game every time we go for a walk it ends up being 3 times longer because I'm like "oh there's a great girro just a couple blocks that way" and then that loop happens for an hour or 2
