  1. So I have nothing to support it but in my mind it’s the 20th anniversary (carry the 2). Monster Hunter is best played with friends (carry the combo). Announcing a new game with a new weapon would be big but what if,… what if it’s a countdown to two new weapons that pair well together?

  2. I'm kinda excited . I played the original PS2 on release and never played after. Just recently got into MHW and I'm living it . I want to start fresh with the crowd .

  3. Now that everyone seems convinced about the 20th anniversary weapon wheel, there are 2 things that can be theorized going foward. The first being we will most likely get a reveal at the Game show awards. Its the only major gaming event going on for the rest of the year and theres enough weeks for each other weapon until the game awards in December. Secondly Im curious if each unique monster weapon that gets shown each week will be a hint at what monsters we can expect in MH 6 too. I thought they were going to represent the flagships of the MH games but based on a few of the outlines of weapons they do not match up with the flagship monsters

  4. The logo looks a lot like the original one, just updated for modern times. Would be very fitting for an anniversary game.

  6. The count-down thing may be true, but if so, man, did they do it terribly. Why would they start with the first revealed weapon being in the upper left instead of the upper right where the One hour is on a clock – it's not like Japan does those backwards – or the upper middle where the Zero is on most physical count-down timers? That's actually just a bit dumb on their part, if that is what they're going for.

The logo being a count-down timer could make sense though, considering… I see no other reason to make a logo that busy and cumbersome and ugly. Even as a person who probably plays a way more wide variety of weapons more often than others… I have to admit that it's just a really unappealing logo. Really lazy too. Just… "Oh, we have a large number of things we need to fit in and a centralizing point. Ah, radial spokes. Done." It's literally just some first draft level conceptualization, there's no synergy or anything to it, so that could lean into it being a really blunt design for the sake of using it to serve a non-aesthetic purpose. Though, even then, they could've still done that better by other means. Like using the weapon symbols instead of their silhouettes so it wouldn't be as busy, and then replacing those with the actual weapon in the "count-down" process, though that'd still come with its own issues. Also, some of the placements and omissions are dumb. Like… Dual Blades is just positioned terribly, both in regards to barely peeking over the center piece and in regards to their crossing obscuring things so much. Then there's other offenders, like Charge Blade looking really silly without its shield, and basically none of the shield weapons having their shield, despite D.B. having both blades when that's way less important to that weapon than shields are to something like Charge Blade, or even the other normal shield weapons.

Another confusing aspect of the logo that doesn't get explained by anything is… What's with the weapon choices? Some are just basic Bone or Metal ones, but then the Horn is the Rathian one, and I think the Light Bow-Gun and Bow are also monster ones (though I can't tell which for sure, I'm just fairly positive they're not base Bone or Metal, I would lean Rath' but not certain). There seems to be no pattern to it or anything. They didn't pick a monster from the generation that the weapon was introduced in, or only used flag-ships, or anything like that.

My big theory based on the video is some sort of re-master or re-make of a first generation experience, given the prominence of the first generation Great Sword and the line-up of hunters going in a mostly chronological pattern (the aerial ones kind of make it a bit messy, but it can still be mostly there) but then ending with first generation base gear hunter at the end, not the beginning, after we got a person with Rath' armor to represent it and an Azure armor to represent G. The full flag-ship monster sets kind of signal a state of that these are the things we have been through, down the line, over the years. The starting armor signals a journey that we have ahead.

World and Rise did such a massive overhaul to systems that doing the very first game again, but with their modern design choices, would still make it basically a wholly different experience. There would even be monsters there we still don't have a modern version of yet, some of which are in desperate need of a change (Cephadrome, Gypceros, and Plesioth) and some that could have a chance to shine where they couldn't quite before (Kut-Ku – though it was pretty great with the addition of Konchu bowling – and Monoblos getting more of its own identity, and then maybe have another go at Lao, and then just a modern Gravios). And, if I recall correctly, re-doing every map in that game as a modern, seamless one would be the first time it would be done, I'm almost certain. So, just updating it to include all the weapon types and almost definitely updated move-sets, and then maybe some other monsters from further along in the series, could provide a whole new experience, to both Fivers and veterans of the series.

But, for all I know, they could just be using it as a stand-in to represent the idea of the series as a whole, though that'd be odd considering that Rathalos is kind of the series flag-ship, but who knows.

  8. Man i cant wait for more news on MH now 🙂

  9. Man i cant wait for more news on MH now 🙂

  10. I see a hint with the OG armor for a gen 1 remake. Was sus that it was presented like that

Also if the weapon ring is a clock Why would they start with the 11 on a clock instead of 1? Because its counter clockwise and what does it mean? We are going back in time.

Would fit to the OG armor , some leaks in the past said it and a lot of ppl would be surprised.

A kokoto remake with a full 3d kokoto and new monsters. Count me in

  13. Capcom just waits and releases content based on Rage's predictions

  14. i would love to see a mh freedom unite remake tbh

  15. You could get to the fucking point. Stop talking in circles.

  16. i think the weapon logo is for honor the greatsword because in MH1, from the greatsword tree you can craft longsword but the long sword is still attack like greatsword.

  17. "Not grounds to grab a ptchfork n track the weather man down." MF yes it is, at least it is for us Californians.

  18. Just saying, on the Istant gaming site if you search MH you will see Monster Hunter 6 with release date 2023…just saying…..

  19. if monster hunter 6 was an espansion of world but with underwater+land maps and monster,
I'd buy it, even after the shit they ppulled in risebreak.

  20. I just want a fist weapon with martial arts movesets. Come on Capcom

  21. Don't do my best boy lagiacrus dirty like that bro, i will forever remain hoepful that he will return one day…

  22. this guy is a fking genius.. this video kinda blewed my mind. bro ur a legend

  23. lets goooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  24. Looking at all this in pretty sure I know how this is going to go. I how I'm wrong just because it would mean we have a lot longer to wait for the next Monster Hunter.

I think this is 100% a countdown to the game. All the hunters representing a game with the final one in base armor ready for the next adventure. But, I think it is a 14 month countdown. Placing the release in October or November of next year. I think it will go like this. 20th anniversary we will get big events in Now and Sunbreak. We will get the final Sunbreak update, similar to the final Iceborne update leading to rise. And we will get the announcement trailer for Monster Hunter 6/ World 2. We get a demo in the summer June or July. And, finally the release in October or November.

Really hope it is sooner, but everything kinda works out that way. 14 weeks didn't really line up. 14 days maybe to an announcement, seems to short. I hope I'm wrong, but that seems to line up.

  25. Why do I get a strong feeling they might do another art piece but instead of the hunters it could be the flagship monsters of each generation on the other side of the image…

  26. if it's a countdown it could go counter clock wise, greatsword, switch axe, gunlance, etc…

as per the reveal could MH 6 with a re introduction of the tonfas or if they are that cracked the magnet spike.

For all we know it's a planned remake of the first game

  27. Honestly, I'm glad they didn't say much at TGS. Wouldn't it be AWESOME if they just suddenly DROPPED a new Monster Hunter game and we ALL got to play it completely blind??

  28. I want a new element too like wind xD 😉

  29. And so, the spark of hope for a tonfa return alights within me once again
    (Not really but IMAGINE )

  30. Man, if people don't want to hear from content creators or what their thoughts on something are – don't click the videos. Actively seeking out things that make you upset is shockingly hard, particularly when it comes to video games and your hobbies. You really have to go out of your way to do it.

  31. I'll be real Josh that intro… I'm gonna go kill 1000 brackies and disrespect their corpses! The woman and children too mofo!

Ok wow! Wrong energy I'm not real mad, I'm playing mad! Bugger me with a rusty pole why get made at content creators? You know unless you have 0 ability to emotionally regulate and they exist in a space adjacent to what you were hoping to see your fixation appear in… hmmmmm?

  32. Im hoping for gauntlets, sort of dual blades blunt damage

  33. or… The countdown is for the release, without any confirmation, like "Hey, it's available, get it now"

  34. New weapon is gonna be Greatsword mixed with gunlance.. It will be gunsword. LMAO. There you go.

  35. Так красиво У тебя талант

  36. Timeline wise I can see the next launch coinciding with the new Nintendo console next year.

  37. I just need a new mainstream monster hunter game to throw unhealthy hours into. Rise is a good game but it doesn’t scratch my MHW itch.

  38. whoever really though that they would announce a new mh at tgs after like not even 10 days after the release of mh now , it's simply a clueless noob .

  39. Wonder if the new game may be a generations ultimate 2 (because 1 came out year 10) or frontier? Is world 2 guaranteed being worked on right now?

  40. I want this man as a professor. I can just see him being “yes at first glance it would seem like this. HOWEVER”

  41. Rise left a bad taste in my mouth, i miss world and just want a world 2
